Triflex HeatTec - Technical details

Triflex HeatTec: surface heating system for entrance and exit areas in car parks

The Triflex HeatTec system was developed as a surface heating system for car park entrance and exit areas. It can withstand the high mechanical and chemical loads required in these areas. The Triflex HeatTec heating system can also be used for other pedestrian and vehicular outdoor areas. These include platforms, helicopter landing pads, walkways, balconies, staircases and much more.

Advantages over electrical thin-bed heaters:

  • Low layer configuration within 10 mm so ideal for refurbishments without total demolition, no sill construction or height differences.
  • With all the advantages of a waterproofing system which is suitable for vehicular traffic, a joint-free robust construction with simultaneous aesthetic requirements can be produced.
  • High efficiency due to minimal covering of the heating at approx. 5 mm
  • Fast heating even in low temperature areas
  • Proven cost reduction of up to 30% through energy savings
  • Further cost savings by shortened construction time due to combining the heating and waterproofing or protection work.
  • No impact on functional efficiency in the event of minor damage to the heating element
  • Quick and easy installation by trained personnel
  • Uniformly tested and approved system with proof of functionality and assurance of durability by an independent institute
