To renovate the parking garage of a shopping center in Greiz, Thuringia—which had been damaged by moisture—as quickly as possible, the owner, EKZ Kaufland, relied on the innovative “ Triflex SAM ” (SprayApplicationMachine) technology: This technology enables the uniform and precise application of liquid primers, waterproofing membranes, and coatings—up to four times faster than with conventional methods. Following a brief on-site introduction by a Triflex application engineer, the contractor, K-T-K Warstein GmbH, was able to use Triflex SAM to apply the liquid polymer systems based on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). As a result, the section-by-section renovation progressed rapidly, and operations at the parking garage did not have to be interrupted at any time.
