Project Review Penthouse Tallinn Balcony & Terrace Renovation (ET)
At an apartment building in Tallinn/Estonia, the balconies and terraces had to be renovated. The existing waterproofing consisted of bitumen membranes and a defective EPO coating. The deformation joints did not hold water, which is why there was damage to the expansion in the apartments. The construction of new deformation joints and the sealing of various joints and surfaces was then carried out with Triflex ProDetail and Triflex ProTerra. A representative of Triflex visited the construction site and gave advice on working with Triflex products.
Refurbishment requirements
- Deformation joints must be sealed over a longer period of time
- Short period of time, construction without a temporary roof
- The appearance was not important as the decking was installed on top of the waterproofing
