To show our employees how much we appreciate them, the Follmann Chemie Group hosted a truly exceptional family festival last month. It feels like it’s been an eternity since the miniature train rolled through our factory grounds. Together with around 1,300 guests—including employees and their families—we celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the new PUR production facility. Approximately €20 million was invested to open up new possibilities for numerous applications of Follmann adhesives and Triflex waterproofing solutions in the future.

While we watched the official cornerstone-laying ceremony, our kids enjoyed the wide variety of attractions around the Technology and Knowledge Center. The diverse program of activities—ranging from an impressive XXL climbing tower and giant darts to bubble artists and interactive chemistry experiments—provided fun and enjoyment for everyone. A special highlight of the day was the impressive soccer trick artists on the company’s own rooftop sports field. Of course, the event was complemented by numerous food and beverage stations.
