At the end of the warranty period, defects were discovered in the asphalt joints and in parts of the surface at the truck loading area used for deliveries to Lidl’s central warehouse in Hildesheim. The goal was to quickly seal the open seams and cracks in the asphalt pavement while operations continued. In addition, the solution had to withstand the heavy stress caused by truck traffic and provide warranty coverage. The requirements outlined in the project specifications led those in charge of the construction site to opt for Triflex Asphalt Repro 3K thix.
