At Chempark Leverkusen, one of Europe’s largest chemical complexes, hundreds of metric tons of material are moved every day. The traffic areas on the premises of Currenta GmbH & Co. OHG are subjected to heavy loads from truck traffic. Over the years, this stress has led to significant rutting and deformation in the asphalt, in some cases extending all the way down to the binder course. For a test area, Currenta opted for a rehabilitation using the Triflex Asphalt Repro 3K repair mortar from the Minden-based liquid polymer specialist.
