Planned, assisted, solved.

More and more road marking contractors are turning to self-propelled marking machines for the application of thick-film cold-plastic systems. These machines feature large-capacity material tanks and precise metering technology that ensure uniform, high-quality application. Until now, filling these machines was time-consuming and labor-intensive. Working with conventional metal containers placed a heavy physical strain on the team, caused frequent work interruptions, and generated large quantities of empty disposable containers for disposal—up to 94 18-kg containers per shipping container.
With the Triflex reusable container solution, the entire process becomes significantly more efficient: One container holds 1,700 kg of Triflex Line cold-applied plastic and can be connected directly to the machine, either via gravity filling or using a diaphragm pump. With the gravity-fed method, simply position the container next to the machine and connect it via a chute or pipe. Filling is fast, clean, and safe, with no additional lifting or transfer work required. The marking team can then continue working without interruption. The time saved makes it possible to mark significantly more square meters per day—a clear efficiency gain in everyday construction site operations.

Requirements for the Renovation

  • Less physical strain when filling
  • Fast, clean filling without decanting or lifting
  • Large-capacity containers for continuous operation
  • Flexible filling via gravity or pump
  • Fewer work interruptions, higher area coverage per day
  • Less waste thanks to reusable containers
  • Efficient, safe, and ergonomic workflows on the job site

Renovation Steps in Detail

  1. Connecting Containers with Triflex Line Cold-Applied Coating
  2. Filling by gravity or pump
  3. Fast, clean, no lifting required
  4. Continue working without interruption
  5. More area covered per day
