Connections to a Newly Built Multigenerational Home
Connections to a Newly Built Multigenerational Home
In the Lower Saxony municipality of Seggebruch, an exclusive multigenerational community is being built, featuring residential units and medical offices, designed specifically to enable people with disabilities to lead independent lives. To waterproof a total of 250 running meters of connections on balconies, loggias, and terraces, a system was needed that would provide a durable bond on various substrates. The roofing contractor in charge turned to a proven solution: Triflex ProDetail.
The product, based on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), adheres reliably and long-term to almost all materials and remains flexible thanks to a special nonwoven fabric insert.

Requirements for the Renovation
- A durable, reliable waterproofing solution for door joints and the transitions to balcony railings and supports
- Adheres easily to a variety of substrates, such as plastic door frames, concrete flooring, bitumen, and FPO waterproofing membranes
